Sandra Crosby Marshall

MAYSVILLE | Sandra Sue Crosby Marshall, 72, of Maysville, left us all too soon on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016. Sandra lived an active life until her time of passing while visiting her fiance, Nevzat Kalayci in Istanbul, Turkey.

Sandra was born in Maysville, on April 17, 1943, to the late Robert and Laura Crosby.

Sandra attended Lewisburg School, May's Lick School and Morehead College. Sandra worked with IBM for 23 1/2 years before retiring in 1990. Sandra was an animal lover, local farmer and active member of the Lewisburg Millcreek Lions Club.

Sandra loved Elvis and frequently attended concerts from various tribute artists. Sandra was an outgoing soul and never met a stranger. Sandra will be sadly missed by many dear friends and family.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Marshall of Maysville; brother, Truett Crosby (JoAnn) of Maysville; mother-in-law, Alline West of Georgetown; brothers-in-law, Phil Marshall (Robin) of Henrietta Texas, Tim Marshall (Donna) of Lexington, and Mike Marshall (Karen) of Georgetown; aunt, Phyllis Finch of Georgetown; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sandra was preceded in death by Danny Marshall.

Funeral services for Sandra Crosby Marshall will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2016 with Rev. Phil Cropper officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
