Virginia Daugherty

Virginia Daugherty, 98, of Valley Pike died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her residence. She was the widow of Hiram B. Daugherty. Mrs. Daugherty was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Maysville and was a former volunteer for Hospice of Hope. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on January 14, 1915 the daughter of the late Richard Walter Bouldin and Pauline Norris Bouldin. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Piel (Bill) of Glenshaw, PA and her son, Douglas Daugherty (Kim) of West Chester, Ohio; two grandchildren, Josh Piel and Tasha Corwin (Jon) and two great grandchildren, Nathan Corwin and Katelyn Corwin. A memorial service for Virginia Daugherty will be scheduled and held at a future date. No services or visitation will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056 or to the Community Food Bank, 18 East Third Street, Maysville, KY 41056 or to the First Presbyterian Church, 21 West Third Street, Maysville, KY 41056.
