Beffie Hay Cook

Mrs. Beffie Hay Cook, age 98, of Hampton, GA passed away March 8, 2018. Mrs. Cook was born in Suwanee, GA the daughter of the late Harriett Cates Hay and William Wilburn Hay. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vester Levi Monroe Cook; a son, Eulyes E. Cook and all of her siblings.

Mrs. Cook enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, arts and crafts, and her flower gardens. She worked in the Textile Industry as a seamstress for over 35 years.

Survivors are her children, William E. Cook of Milner, James D. Cook (Janet) of McDonough and Marie Elliott (Sam) of Lyons, GA; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Chaplain Dave Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
