Ben Henderson Sims, age 59, of Hampton, GA passed away March 11, 2015. Ben was born in Spaulding County the son of the late Anne Henderson Sims and Benjamin Oscar Sims. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Smith and his wife of 33 years, Emily Dianne Spratlin Sims. Ben enjoyed spending time with family and friends, music, golfing, and riding the Harley. Survivors are his children, Sera Sims of Denver, CO and Addison Sims of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters, Millie Gobble of San Juan Capistrano, CA and Joanne and Keith Waugh of Forsyth, GA. A memorial service for Ben will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 – 4:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Riley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
