Benny Morris Patton Sr.

Mr. Benny Morris Patton, SR., age 71, of Locust Grove, GA passed July 14, 2014. Benny was born in Atlanta, GA the son of the late Hazel Jones Patton and Milas Beechum Patton. He owned and operated Patton’s Floor Coving most of his working career. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working on lawn mowers, fishing and being outside. He is survived by his wife, Marie Patton of Locust Grove; children, Arlene Foster (Steve), Darlene Patton, Benny Morris Patton Jr. (April), Sharon Mitchell (Jeff), Chad Patton (Demetria Parker) all of Locust Grove; step children, Preston Tritt (Linda)of Murrayville, Tammy Duchane (Steve) of Monticello and Gerald Tritt (Dawn) of Standing Rock, AL; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Marshall Patton (Mary) of McDonough, Bonnie Sanders of McDonough, Patricia Pritchett (Milton) of Locust Grove, Michael Patton (Donna) of Jackson, Milas Patton (Judy) of Stockbridge, Gary Patton of Morrow, Sherry Carmichael (Allen) of Jackson, Debbie Johnson (Melvin) of McDonough, and Jimmy Tickle (Terry) of Stockbridge; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Patton will be Wednesday from 6 – 8 and on Thursday from 2 – 4:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Friday, July 18, 2014 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral home with Rev.
