Betty Gunter, age 87, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024. She was born in Griffin, Georgia on September 28, 1936 to the late Toombs and Laurie Mobley. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sue Gissendaner. Betty is survived by her husband of 68 years, Warren, two daughters, Kathie Overstreet and Laurie (Jim) Mercer of McDonough and granddaughter, Emily (Nic) Burran of Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Road, McDonough, GA 30252.
