Brenda Wilson Mercier

Brenda accepted Christ at a young age and loved to sing gospel hymns. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her husband Pierre, her boys and grandchildren. She taught her sons the value of hard work and spreading love. She loved to cook and host family gatherings. She enjoyed decorating her home, and was known for hospitality towards others.

Brenda shared a passion for story telling and adding a touch of humor. She worked in banking for many years in New York before relocating to New Jersey. In 2005 she relocated to Georgia with her husband and children.

On October 11, 2024, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend was called to glory. She is survived by her husband Pierre Mercier, 7 sons: David (Shanica) Parker, Desmond (Keisha) Parker, Brandon Mercier, Orel Mercier, Omari Mercier, Isaiah (Aniya) Mercier & Jeremiah Mercier. 11 Grandchildren; Cameron, Denasia, Demari, Devin, Aaliyah, Brandon Jr, Amir, Alivia, Kyrie, Dallas, & Kamille. 5 siblings, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and family. She is proceeded in death by her mother Bernadine Burkette and sister Bernadette Wilson.
