Brenda Gail Morgan, 71, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 19th with her loving family by her side. Gail was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Goddard, and her father, Fincher Goddard. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will forever cherish the many memories they shared together.
Gail is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Ronald Morgan; her children, Robert Thayer (Janet), Ronnie Morgan (Matt), Rhonda Morgan (Michael), and Jason Morgan (Lacy); her beloved grandchildren, Ashley Sanders (Justin), Dylan Harland, Peyton Thayer (Chase), McKinley Morgan, and Kennedy Morgan; and her precious great-grandchildren, Steele Anthony and Heidi Harland.
As a young girl, Gail grew up in a large family with several siblings, some of whom preceded her in death and others with whom time and distance created separation over the years. Yet Gail never stopped loving her family. Her heart remained open, kind, and forgiving, and she carried love for each of them throughout her life regardless of circumstances. That unwavering love was simply who Gail was - compassionate, loyal, and full of grace.
Gail's greatest joy in life was her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world and the source of her greatest pride. She treasured every moment spent together, whether it was sharing laughter, creating memories, or simply enjoying one another's company. Her home and heart were always open, offering comfort, warmth, and unconditional love to those around her.
She also found happiness in the beauty of simple things. Gail loved flowers, especially roses, and enjoyed gardening and caring for the things she nurtured so lovingly. She also loved a good comedy and occasionally was known to enjoy a strawberry rita. But above all
else, what she loved most was being surrounded by her family, sharing fellowship, stories, and good times together. The love she poured into her family will continue to live on in each of them for generations to come.
Gail will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strength, her kind loving heart, and the deep devotion she had for all those she loved. She was truly cherished by her family and friends, and her absence leaves an ache that words cannot fully express. Though she will
be greatly missed, the memories, lessons, and love she gave so freely will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
