Carmen Iris Aviles passed away on August 18th 2024. She was born to the late Melitòn Matos and Benilda Berrios on March 5th, 1939 in Barranguita, Puerto Rico. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rafael Aviles, her son, Rafael Aviles and her daughter, Virginia Aviles where they are all now reunited.
Carmen was a very loving, kind lady who never disagreed with anything; her sweet soul earned her the nicknamed Aviles Power by her family. Whenever she was out of the house, she loved shopping; however, above all, she loved her family.
Carmen is survived by her grandchildren Stephany Aviles, Rafael Aviles, Yanalee Valencia, Yamari Valencia; step grandchildren Karizma Munoz, Kassandra Cartwright and daughter in law, Yajaira Carrero who will miss her dearly.
A visitation for Carmen will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253.
