Carroll "Bubba" Hawkins Jr., 79 went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 19, 2026. He was surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hawkins was born in Atlanta on October 17, 1946. He was very strong in his Christian faith, and he was an ordained Deacon at The Rock Baptist Church in Rex and a member of Bethany Baptist Church in McDonough. Bubba served passionately for the Rockdale County Miracle League for more than 20 years and he was also a Henry County School Bus Driver. He enjoyed farming and using his tractor. Mr. Hawkins is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carolyn, children Michelle (Steve) Bridgens, Amanda (Danny) Stapp and Mark (Jennifer) Hawkins, seven grandchildren, Ashleigh, Seth, Aubrey, Hayden, Kyle, Bradey and Waylon and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Betty Ann (Junior) Hooper and Charles Hawkins, one sis-in-law, Susie Garner and numerous nieces and nephews.
