Charles Warren Hassler

Mr. Charles Warren Hassler “Chuck”, age 69, of McDonough, GA passed away November 22, 2014. Chuck was born in Bloomington, IL the son of the late Edna Susan Schuette and Warren Beard Hassler. He served his country in the US Army with four tours in Vietnam and retired with 20 years of service. He worked with Henry County Building Department for 10 plus years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and remodeling homes and being a handy man for anyone that needed his services. Survivors are his wife, Carol Ann Hassler of McDonough; children, Rick Jeffares (Leslie) of Locust Grove, Jason Jeffares (Laura) of Eatonton, and Brad Jeffares of Augusta; grandchildren, Brook Sevigny (Dave), Lauren Jeffares, Alex Jordon, Kristen Jeffares, Madelin Jeffares, Cameron Jeffares, Boyd Jeffares and Luke Jeffares; great grandchildren, Jenna Rowland and Ali Phillips; sister, Sue Shields of Danvers, IL and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Chuck will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 – 11:00 Am at Sharon Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Johnny Rohrbeck officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
