

Claudette Johnson, age 74, of McDonough, Georgia passed away October 21, 2021. Claudette was born June 18, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Luther Neil and Audrey (Haha) Ann Little Robinson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Larry Norman and by her sisters, Jeanette Kirby, Margaret Smith, Ethel Littlejohn, Louise Brock and Betty Flynn. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Atlanta. She had been employed with Owens Illinois Glass, P&D Color and was a hairdresser for many years. Claudette was a member of the Eagles Landing First Baptist Church, where she was in the Discipleship Group. She was dedicated to the church and was an avid reader of the Bible. She was very family oriented and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She loved to travel, go shopping (especially QVC), walking and doting on her Maltese, Mopsy Grace. She was also the former Director of Cheerleading for the Jonesboro Area Athletic Association and the Drill Team. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Johnson; sons, Tim (Christina) Norman of McDonough and Chris (Cindy) Norman of McDonough; grandchildren, Austin Norman of Lusby, MD, Corinne Norman of Kennesaw and Emily Norman of McDonough; step-sons, Derrick Johnson of Tifton and Kenneth (Elana) Johnson of Alpharetta; brothers, J.W. (Renee) Robinson of Senoia and Charles Robinson of Senoia; and Mopsy Grace. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 - 11:00 AM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mike Dixon officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Claudette.
