Daniel Leverett Stewart

Mr. Daniel Leverett Stewart, age 67 of McDonough, Georgia passed away July 31, 2018. He was born in McDonough, Georgia to the late Joe L. and Mary Alice Rodgers Stewart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Joyce Tucker Stewart and a son, George Wallace (Lace) Pearl. Dan retired after over 20 years with the Henry County Fleet Department as a mechanic. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and enjoyed yardwork, working on cars, watching NASCAR and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He also enjoyed time with his family and friends. Survivors include his children, Cynthia Stewart of Zebulon, Teresa Pearl-Moss (Josh) of Zebulon, Melissa Parker of Jackson, Celena Erickson of McDonough and Daniel E. Stewart of Ola; grandchildren, Gaven Pearl, Dawson Moss, Cody Moss, Hunter Parker, Kadyn Livery, Nichole Elkins and Katrina Hamlin; great granddaughter, Raelynn Hamlin. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 - 1100 AM at Sandy Creek Cemetery in Flovilla. Friends may visit the family Thursday, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
