

Dave Cooper passed away on April 10, 2020 in McDonough, GA at the age of 75.Dave was born on December 5, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan to Frederick and Marion Cooper (Passolt). Dave graduated from Arthur Hill HS in 1963. After graduation he attended community college and worked at General Motors, Saginaw Foundry. In 1965 he was drafted into the armed services and joined the U.S. Navy until 1969. He was married to Doranna Jane Brown 1969 -1994, raising two children Aimee and Brad. The family lived throughout the Midwest and Dave worked for General Motors, John Deere and Cessna Aircraft before eventually settling in McDonough, GA and working at Snapper for 18 years. After his divorce, Dave met while working at Snapper, Brenda Hardin they fell in love, married and were together for 22 years before her death in 2016. Dave was a hardworking, kind, generous man who loved traveling, gambling and meeting new people. He was a proud veteran having served his country in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by both parents and siblings Gerald Cooper and Mary Susan Johnson (Cooper).
Dave is survived by his children Aimee Olson (Cooper) of California, Bradley Cooper of Virginia, step children Rebecca Troup, Katherine Maloy, and Tobey Hardin all of Georgia.
