Diana Lee Lundy

On Sunday, January 23, 2022, Diana Lee Lundy, age 74, of Locust Grove, Georgia was reunited in Heaven with her parents Raymond and Phyllis Helsel, her stepmother Dorothy and her brother and sister-in-law Bob and Mary Ellen Lundy.

Diana enlisted in the Air Force in 1968 which is how she met the man who would be her husband and soulmate for the next 53 years, Jackie Lundy.

Diana enjoyed traveling, reading & playing games with family and friends. She loved the Lord and was a person of great faith and lived life serving others.

Diana is survived by her husband Jack Lundy, daughter & son-in-law Becky & Brett Whitman, son Jackie Lundy Jr., daughter & son-in-law Jennifer & Cecil Miller, grandchildren Robert Ellis, Hunter Whitman, Leah Chaney, Mason Miller and Micah Miller. She is also survived by her brother & sister-in law Raymond & Cindy Helsel and her sister and brother-in -law Mary Lou and John Peters.

Diana’s children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of Diana’s kind spirit, passion, love and zest for life will live on through them.

Diana was not only the mother to her kids, but also a 2nd mom to all the kids in the neighborhood. She had enough love in her heart for everyone.

She will be missed but not forgotten.

Diana's family will receive friends and share memories on Thursday January 27, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Ga. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 28, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home.
