Mr. Donald Wayne Chapman, age 63, of Jackson, Georgia passed away May 8, 2014. Don was born in Anderson, SC. He served his country in the US Marines, he was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson, a store manager for Food Depot, and belonged to the Chamblee Lodge #444 F. & A. M. Don enjoyed spending time with family and friends, drag racing, NASCAR, fishing and gospel music. Survivors are his loving wife, Jo Ann Chapman of Jackson; children, David Chapman of Jackson, Shawn Woodruff (Amber) of Milford, PA, Jennifer Fazio (Don) of Lanoka Harbor, NJ, and Julia Kane of Lanoka Harbor, NJ; grandchildren, Xander, Jackson, MacKensie, Hunter and Taylor; mother, Jackie Shaw of McDonough; father, Paul Chapman of Conyers; siblings, Jack Chapman (Maggie) and JoEllen Chapman. A memorial service for Don will be Tuesday, May, 13, 2014 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Wade officiating.
