He is survived by his wife Wanda of McDonough, Georgia (formerly of Sevierville, Tennessee and Stringer, Mississippi); they had been married since January 5, 1985, and they enjoyed many happy years together. Earnie grew up in Alabama, but he moved to Gulfport, Mississippi to help open Lowe’s Home Improvement and experienced great success while there. After that, he continued his works as a salesman in the automotive industry in Laurel, Mississippi. He was a talented salesman, and in this career, he created many long-lasting friendships. In his free time, Earnie enjoyed riding and working with horses, as well as with bird dogs. He also spent many years as a professional field trial judge and judged events around the southeast and even in South Dakota. He was a passionate Alabama Football fan, and he enjoyed watching a rainstorm from his front porch. He cared about animals, and because of this, his pacemaker has been donated to the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where it will be used to help animals in need. Earnie had a big laugh and an even bigger heart, and his family will miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in his name.
