Mr. Edgar Henry Wallace, JR, age 66, of Milledgeville, GA passed away July 25, 2016. Eddie was born in Atlanta, Ga the son of the late Lois Imogene McGaughey Wallace and Edgar Henry Wallace Sr. He served his country in the US Navy from 1968 to 1972. He retired from the East Point Police Department and was a member of the FOP. Eddie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, joking, helping others, yard work, car shows, being outside and on the lake, his dog “Sherman”, and was a big Mickey Mouse Fan. Survivors are his children, Christopher Wallace of Newnan, Pamela Wallace of Portland, Oregon; grandsons, Jackson Wallace and Brennan Wallace of Newnan; sisters, Patricia Langford of Jacksonville, FL and Sandra Rogers (Jimmy) of McDonough; dearest friends, Margaret and P.C. Newsom of Milledgeville; adopted granddaughters, Kaitlyn Birlew and Sierrah Birlew of Canton, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service for Eddie will be on Saturday, August 6, 2016 – 5:00 PM at Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Seabolt officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
