Emily Elaine Brown

Ms. Emily “Elaine” Carter Brown passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was born in McDonough, Georgia on November 10, 1950, to the late Robert Lee Carter and Emily “Ruth” Martin Carter. She is survived by her daughter: Angi (Calvin) McClendon of McDonough; granddaughters; Dikota McClendon and Madison McClendon of McDonough; brothers and sister; Randall (Deb) Carter of Stockbridge, Barry Carter of McDonough, Carol (Louis) Rice of McDonough, and Joel (Lynn) Carter of Locust Grove; sister-in-law, Denise Carter of McDonough; and a host of nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her brother: Tim Carter. She was employed at Henry County School System Transportation Services as a Special Needs Bus Monitor. She enjoyed working with the students and having a positive influence. She had a heart of gold and loved helping people in any way she could. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
