George Wayne Hornsby passed away on February 22, 2022 at the age of 76. He was funny, always with a joke, talented with a beautiful singing voice, loving, caring and always supportive. He was a proud Marine and Vietnam veteran. He loved cars, old movies and his family and would do anything to help anyone, but rarely asked anything for himself. He was a Georgia Bulldog fan and got to see them bring home the first championship in over 40 years.
George was reunited in Heaven with his parents, Clara Virginia Chambers Hornsby and Clifford Leonard Hornsby. His legacy lives on through his beloved daughter Kellie Martin and his siblings, Patricia Hensley and Clifford Hornsby, Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday May 14, 2022 at Eastlawn Memorial Park
