Glenda Faye Walden

Mrs. Glenda Faye Walden, age 74 of McDonough, Georgia passed away February 17, 2018. She was born in Rome, Georgia to the late Dewey and Ader Dean Pless. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Walden and by siblings, Tony Pless, Sue Bowen and Shirley Music. Faye drove school bus # 32-73 for Henry County special needs children for 23 years. She loved to spend time with her family, care for others, traveling, playing Bingo and was known for her cooking. Survivors include her daughters, Marsha (Michael) Blessitt of Savannah, Karen (William) Thomason of McDonough, Jamie (Robert, Jr.) Powell of McDonough; grandchildren, Alisia Fletcher, Brandon Perkins, Ashley Thompson, Abby Grizzle, Aaron Thomason, Andrew Thomason, Kasen Walden, Jalen Varnadoe, Levi Varnadoe, Rayden Powell, Coraley Powell, Chandler Blessitt, Brantley Fletcher, Hayden Fletcher, Baylee Perkins, Britten Perkins, Vander Perkins, Evelli Perkins, Daxton Perkins, Lakin Blessitt, Jaley Reeves, Maddie Thompson, Olivia Thompson, Leah Thompson, Ethan Grizzle, Eli Grizzle, Avery Thomason, Sawyer Thomason and Cash Thomason; sister, Ann Moody of Byron; sister in law, Ann Pless of Cartersville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 – 2:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roger Burdette will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Eastlawn Mausoleum.
