Hazel Keeter Becker

Mrs. Hazel Keeter Becker, age 89, formerly of Dunwoody, passed away January 28, 2015. Hazel was born in Greenville, NC the daughter of the late Elizabeth Ross Keeter and Benjamin James Keeter. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, William J. Becker Jr.; siblings, J. W. Keeter, Curtis Keeter, Ben Keeter and Gerri Sunday. Hazel enjoyed spending time with family and friends, square dancing, sewing and crocheting. Survivors are daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Tom Nicholson of McDonough and Darlene and Tom Parkerson of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Tommy Nicholson of McDonough, Becky and Robbie Rainer of McDonough, Chris Nicholson of Birmingham, AL, Tommy and Heather Parkerson of Lawrenceville, Matt Parkerson of Loganville, Lisa and Frank Paille of Buford; great grandchildren, Haylee, Bert and Brooklyn Rainer and Riley and Avery Parkerson; siblings, Grace King, Nell Hauser, Wanda Burgess, and Ray Keeter all of Newport News, VA and Selma Tillich of Cleveland, TN. A memorial service for Hazel will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 – 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Al O’Quinn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
