Howard "Frank" Speights, age 72, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. He was born on April 30, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Howard Franklin Speights, Sr. and Emma Lou Morris Woodall. Frank was also preceded in death by his brother, Steven W. Speights. He was a proud retired US Army veteran and attended Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. Frank was a crew chief for the Heritage Foundation. He loved to talk to people and he enjoyed working at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. He is survived by his wife Sandra, two sons Daniel (Kylie) Speights of Springfield, Missouri and Jesse (Megan) Manglona of Palmer, Alaska, his brother David Speights of Unadilla, Georgia, step-son Leland (Cynthia) Sisk and eight grandchildren. Service will be held at 1:00pm on June 14, 2025 at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 992 Mt Bethel Rd, McDonough, GA 30252. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Frank will be interred at later date at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.
