Jack was a leader at AT&T, devoted to his work and the success of the company. He served as a great mentor for many who worked with him. Sympathies to his family.

It was a shock to me to hear of Jackie's passing,
having just recently received the message from our AT&T gal who keeps us up to date on who has passed away.
I worked under Jackie's guidance when he was our District Manager over the facility planning group in Atlanta. I also used to see him at lunch time in White Plains, N.Y. when we were both assigned there. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Mrs Jamie Hurst . Jackie invited a few of us to your home in NJ for a lovely dinner. I reported to Jackie when he was Staff Engineer in Atlanta at which time he promoted me in his group. He knew telephony and the Network and required high standards. It was a pleasure and memorable experience having him for a leader. I will pray for Jackie, you, and your family comfort.

Our hearts are heavy with the news of Grandpa Jack's passing. He was a wonderful man and made a huge impact to all in the LeCates family. So sad to hear of my cousin passing.  My prayers are with all in this time of loss.  He was a great man.  I know my father admired and respected him and spoke highly of Jackie.  All my love to you all.

Pam and I are very sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Jack and will have those for the rest of my days. He loved the outdoors and he loved sports. I remember the time that I camped out with you and the family at the lake. Makes me laugh when I think about it. Yes, those were younger days for all of us but they were fun days. Janie, you may or may not know this but I had talked to Jack by phone, at his office, a couple of times when the two of you where living in New Jersey. I was finishing college and starting to look for a job. I  contacted Jack to get some advice on different companies, the corporate environment, and the interviewing process. He was very willing to give me his time and advice. I have always appreciated that about Jack. I have to tell you, I was not use to the speaker phone but that was how Jack worked. I am thankful for having known Jack and the entire Hurst family all these years.
