James “Jimmy” “Jimbo” Harry Hewell, age 42, of McDonough passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022. Jimmy loved to rock crawl, fish, kayak, play corn hole, game nights, golfing, camping, pool parties, yard work, and most of all spending time with family and friends. He was a cornerstone at Creative Companies for 19 years. Of all his accomplishments, he was most proud of being Avery’s dad. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet Pope (widow Jack Cagle). He is survived by his son Avery Hewell, his wife Jennifer Martin-Hewell, siblings Joey Hewell (Scott Linwell), Dana (Tori and Tyler), (David, Missy, Megan). He leaves behind a host of family, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws, The Weeks family, friends, and so many people who were fortunate to know him. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Momentum Christian Church, 305 Westridge Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. The family will not be receiving people at their home but we will be gathering at a place to TBD after the service.
