James Brian Jones

James Brian Jones, age 47, of Jackson, GA passed away June 8, 2017. Brian was born in Atlanta, GA. He worked for D & T Glass Company as an office manager. He was preceded in death by his father, James Claxton Jones. Brian enjoyed spending time with family and friends, spoiling his grandchildren, singing, playing the guitar and piano, riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing. Survivors are his daughters, Taylor and Ciara Jones of McDonough; grandchildren, Jaydyn Anderson and Malahni Sims of McDonough; mother, Elaine Steadham and husband Randy of Jackson; siblings, Keith Jones (Christy) of Forest Park, Elisha Martin (Jason) of Locust Grove and Ali Latham (Brian) of Locust Grove, Randy Steadham of Jackson, GA and Ricky Steadham of Jackson, GA ; mother of his children, Tracy Jones of Locust Grove; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 – 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home.
