James Richard Watson

Mr. James Richard Watson, age 87, of Hampton, GA passed away January 30, 2015. Mr. Watson was born in Sanford, FL the son of the late Susan Margaret Richardson Watson and Thomas Watson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Thomas Watson. Mr. Watson served his country in the US Army. He worked most of his working career as a land surveyor. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, ministering and sharing his faith, doing missionary work, being outdoors and was a good mechanic. He was a member of Gwinnett Baptist Tabernacle. Survivors are his children, James Watson of High Falls, John Watson (Donnell) of Hampton, Bob Moore (Barbara) of Marietta, Paul Watson of Hampton, David Watson of Atlanta, Jonathan Watson of Hampton, Julie Fetcko of Crescent City, FL, Priscilla Engler of Crescent City, FL, Jo Etta Northcutt of Jackson and Rebekah Norris (Lamar) of Griffin; 9 grandchildren, mother of his children, Nancy B. Watson of Hampton; brother, Tom Watson of Orlando. A graveside service for Mr. Watson will be on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 – 1:00 PM at The Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA.
