Janet Hulsey Turner passed on to be with her Lord on April 27, 2019 after a four year bout with dementia. She was the daughter of the late Ralph E. Hulsey and Melba Morgan Hulsey of Atlanta, GA. Janet is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph "Joe" A. Turner of McDonough, GA and their three children, Teresa (Key) Turner Bell of Alabaster, AL, Joseph Turner Jr. of Nashua, NH and Scott (Rebecca) Turner of McDonough, GA as well as two grandchildren, Joseph Turner III, of Charleston, SC and Brittany Bell of Alabaster, AL.
Janet was a loving and devoted mother and wife, dedicated to caring for her family. Janet was a devoted Christian who served in many capacities at churches where she and her family were members including Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta, GA and Lost Mountain Baptist Church in Dallas, GA. She and Joseph are new members at Glen Haven Baptist Church in McDonough, GA.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA with Pastor Brady Howard officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, from 10:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at Haisten Funerals and Cremations, McDonough, GA. 770-914-8833
