Jerry Wayne Bryan

Mr. Jerry Wayne Bryan, age 76 of McDonough, Georgia passed away August 6, 2020. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Nelson William and Sarah Odeyssa Hardy Bryan. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Scott Bryan in 1994. Wayne retired after 37 years with the Ford Motor Company. He was a member of People's Baptist Church, where he loved his Pastor and church family. Wayne loved his family and friends and was known for being a socialite. He loved to tend to his garden and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Miriam Bryan; children, Gail Bryan (Bryan) Collier of Stockbridge and Gregory Wayne (Connie) Bryan of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Wayne (Lindsey) Rooks, Stephen (Jessie) Rooks, Clay Rooks, Heather (Paul) Scott and Hollie Bryan; great grandchildren, Charisma Rooks, Henry Rooks, Maggie Rooks and Nathan Scott; siblings, Sandra Jean (Bret) Bleifus of Gainesville and Scotty (Penny Robertson) Bryan of Stockbridge; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 - 1:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor David McCoy will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family Monday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM prior to the service.

Due to social distancing, a maximum of 10 attendees on a rotation for the visitation time and a maximum of 40 attendees for the service.
