husband of 50 years to Barbara Patterson Herrin. He was born in Atlanta to Rudolph Herrin and the late
Dorothy Harmon Herrin. Jerry was a proud Marine Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was
known for his wonderful sense of humor and always making people laugh. In addition to being a huge college football fan, Jerry also enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Tina (Todd) Price of McDonough and Jason Herrin of McDonough; step grandson: Ryan Price; siblings: Jean Gossett, Phillip Herrin, Cindy Stevens, Marty Herrin, Michelle Breedlove, and Ray Herrin; grandfurchildren: Jackson, Jersey, and Bella; beloved fur babies: Shadow, Journey, and Jayla. A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Memorial Gardens on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 10:00AM. Services will be live streamed vis Haisten Funerals & Cremations facebook.
