Jessie Reichert

Jessie Reichert, age 90, of The Villages, Florida passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022. She was born in Meigs, Georgia on May 1, 1932 to the late Henry and Edna Aldredge. She was also preceded in death by her husband L. B. Reichert, her son, Todd Jeffery Reichert, one grandson, Keith Fondren and one great grandson, Eli Fondren and two sons-in-law, James D. Fondren, III and Mike Fondren. Jessie enjoyed working in the garden, cooking, canning and fishing. She liked to watch the news, play board games and watch game shows on TV. She loved her dogs and spending time at the Lake House. Mrs. Reichert is survived by her children, Gwendolyn Marie Reichert of The Villages, FL, Denise Fondren of Covington, GA, Peggy Fondren of The Villages, FL and Joseph (Tara) Reichert of Milner, GA. She also leaves to cherish her memory, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm - 8:00pm on Friday at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, GA. Funeral services will be held in our chapel at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park, 6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236. Those desiring may send contributions to Children's HealthCare of Atlanta.
