Mr. John Louis Dunn, age 85, of Stockbridge, GA passed away February 1, 2018. Mr. Dunn was born in Springfield, TN the son of the late Grace Celeste Head Dunn and John Victor Dunn. He was also preceded in death by the mother of his children, Kathleen Dunn and his wife Norma Jean Dunn; son, John Randall Dunn and a grandson, Michael Shane Gatewood.
Survivors are his daughter, Cindy Gatewood of Stockbridge; grandson, John Randall Dunn Jr. (Jenelle) of McDonough; granddaughter, Anna Dunn of Sandersville; great grandchildren, Jacob, Jonah and Caden; sisters, Betty Sue Henson of Iowa and Mary Jane West of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dunn enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golf, traveling, riding motorcycles, and working. He owned and operated Batteries Inc. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
A memorial service for Mr. Dunn will be held at St. James The Apostle Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM with inurnment of the cremains in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
