

Billy was a committed Christian and longtime member of Southside Christian Fellowship where he made many dear friends. He was also a home builder responsible for building and renovating homes in Henry County for many years. Billy is also remembered for roping calves and steers in rodeos and helping to train young ropers along the way.
Billy is predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Eden Cochran as well as his two siblings, Jimmy Cochran and Helen Cochran Madore and a nephew Mack Cochran. He is survived by his sons Dennis Rouse and Randy Cochran; grandchildren Lauren Carlson, Lindsey Cochran and Andrew Cochran as well as great grandchildren Audrey Carlson and Chloe Carlson. Billy is also survived by his nephews Phillip Madore, David Cochran, and Brett Cochran and nieces Kelly Gill and Sherri Madore.
Billy's legacy is that of a committed husband and father of two boys who both went on to become pastors of churches.
Funeral services for Mr. Cochran will be held on Friday January 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at Haisten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
