Joseph Zottarelli

Mr. Joseph Zottarelli Sr., age 92, of Stockbridge, GA passed away April 27, 2015. Mr. Zottarelli was born in Ridgefield Park, NJ the son of the late Mary Pasquale Zottarelli and Rocco Edward Zottarelli. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Zottarelli and a Sister Margaret Zottarelli; and his beloved wife of 66 years, Caroline Winifred Allen Zottarelli. Mr. Zottarelli enjoyed spending time with family and friends, casino, horse races and bowling. He was a member of VFW Post 5080 in Lake City, GA, American Legion Post 33 of Stockbridge and the DAV Chapter NOMAD #52. He served his country in the US Army from 1942 – 1946 and received a purple heart. Survivors are his children, Dennis Zottarelli of McDonough, Joseph Zottarelli (Sylvia) of Saddle Brook, NJ, and Ellen Zottarelli of Stockbridge; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Theresa Vincent of Ridgefield Park, NJ and Barbara Ann Scheideler of Waldwick, NJ; several nieces and nephews. A visitation for Mr. Zottarelli will be on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM at Haisten Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Thursday, April 30, 2015 – 11:00 Am in the chapel with Pastor Dave Riley officiating.
