Larry Thomas Wilkerson, age 78, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. He was born on May 19, 1946 in Ola, GA to the late Thomas and Ruth Wilkerson. Larry was also preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Ann Wilkerson. He joined the Army National Guard in 1965 and served for 6 years. He loved to work in the garden, yard work and repairing small lawn mower engines. Larry worked as a meat cutter for approximately 50 years. He liked watching sports, especially NASCAR racing, football and baseball. He was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan. Go Dawgs! He is survived by his wife, Teresa of Locust Grove, children, Kimberly Hutto of Thomaston, Wesley Wilkerson of Locust Grove, two grandchildren Corey Morris and Shae Morris, one sister Kathy Allen of McDonough and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation for Larry will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Pkwy McDonough, Georgia 30253, followed by a Celebration of Life at 5:00 PM in our chapel.
