Louise Chance Heyward

On Wednesday, September 2, 2020, Louise Heyward, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 93. Louise was born on January 10, 1927 and lived a long, happy and eventful life. Louise had an incredible zest for life and lived thru many challenging and exciting times. She traveled extensively throughout the world and had a long successful career in first governmental work and then as a highly successful real estate broker and agent. Louise was ahead of her time and unique in many ways. She was a devoted Christian and faithful to her Church, Salem Baptist Church, for over 50 years. Her faith was unyielding during her final days and hours and she set the example of a true Christian in the manner in which she lived her life. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Heyward, and her eldest son, Curtis Heyward. She is survived by her youngest son, Steve Heyward and his wife, Laura Heyward, her sister Rosa Hill, her daughter in law Loresa Heyward, her granddaughters Morgan Heyward Collette and Jamie Heyward, her grandsons Devin Hill and Richie Heyward, her great grandson Deklyn Hill and many beloved nieces and nephews. A private service will be held by the family and a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
