Mrs. Edna Louise Phillips, age 82, of McDonough, GA passed away July 14, 2015. Mrs. Phillips was born in Sand Mountain, AL the daughter of the late Ilava Hayes Morris and Pleas Hayes Morris. She was also preceded in death a son, Michael Phillips, brothers, Levoid Morris and Leon Morris. Mrs. Phillips enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and crafts. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Survivors are her loving husband of 65 years, Belvia Phillips of McDonough; children, Denise Stacks (Rudy) of Franklin, Lisa Phillips of McDonough, and Tracey Louise VanRoyen (Berkely) of McDonough; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Jo Earle (Harold) – Sharpsburg and a brother, Olan Morris of Lagrange; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 – 6:00 – 8:00 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be on Friday, July 17, 2015 – 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
