Margaret Anne Jenkins

Mrs. Margaret Anne Jenkins, age 63, of McDonough, GA passed away on May 12, 2016. She was born in Chicago, IL to the late Rondal Mitchell and Florence Angelina (Balis) Huffman. She graduated from Glenbard East High School in Lombard, IL and received a BA in History and Anthropology from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She retired after 33 years of civil service with the Department of the Army and attended the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta. She was a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association and the Henry-Clayton County Genealogy Society in McDonough. Survivors include her husband of more than 26 years, Lee Jenkins; sister, Sarah Park of Chicago; sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Dennis Brazelton of Orange Park, FL; niece, Caroline Brazelton of Jacksonville, FL; nephew, Christopher Brazelton of Woodstock, GA; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from across the country. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 21, 2016 beginning 6:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home, located at 1745 Zack Hinton Pkwy in McDonough. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery.
