Mrs. Margaret Estes Smith, age 88, of Stockbridge, GA passed away January 14, 2016. Mrs. Smith was born in Fredericksburg, VA the daughter of the later Annie May Cash Estes and Walter Franklin Estes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Douglas Smith; a son, James D. Smith and several siblings. Mrs. Smith enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always there for her children and grandchildren taking care of their needs and putting others first. Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, David and Cynthia Smith of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Brad, Lisa, Collin, Cameron and Casey; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Patsy Duerden, Donald and Bobby Estes all of VA; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Smith will be on Monday, January 18, 2016 – 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fredericksburg, VA.
