Mrs. Martha Jean Bright, age 76 of Forest Park, Georgia passed away May 23, 2016. She was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Louis and Frances Mae Nix Bryant. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy West. She was a graduate of Tuscaloosa High School and was a member of the Church of God in Jonesboro. Survivors include her husband, Herbert Bright, Sr. of Forest Park; children, Marcia (Bill) Mayo of Stockbridge, Tony Reese of Albany, Herbert Bright, Jr. of LaGrange, Shane Reese of McDonough, Jonathan Bright of Douglasville and Chris Bright of Powder Springs; 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; sister, Lib Lyons of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 2016 – 2:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. David Daniels will officiate. Entombment will follow at the Eastlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
