Melvin Gerald Queen

Gerald Queen, 72 of Eatonton, Georgia passed away on February 8, 2021. He was born in Marietta, Georgia on February 5, 1949 to Earnest William Queen and Allie Mae Wingfield. Gerald was a U.S. Army Veteran and a licensed electrician for 47 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and four wheeling. Mr. Queen is survived by his children, Brian Queen of Dahlonega, Brandon Queen of Eatonton, Jennifer Queen of Woodstock, Shane (Kelly) Moore of Dawsonville, Christy (Wesley) Keown of Jasper, Alicia (Donnie) Crocker of Cartersville and Regina (Tony) Hedden of Ellijay. Eighteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Siblings, Katherine Maney, Glenda Smith, Wanda Queen and David Queen all of Woodstock along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough. A Celebration of Gerald's life will start at 11:00am on Saturday, February 13, 2021 in our chapel.
