Michael Eugene Smith, JR., age 43, of McDonough, GA passed away September 21, 2017. Mike was born in Griffin, Georgia and attended Griffin High School. He was employed by Leslie Pools as a retail manager. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing golf, basketball, watching the University of GA and Atlanta Falcon’s Football, being known as the “weather man” and his love for the latest technology. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Bunn. Survivors are his wife of 15 years, Linda Drummond Smith of McDonough; daughter, Savannah Smith of McDonough; mother, Sheila Clark Bunn of Griffin; mother and father-in-law, Sheila and Gary Drummond of Morrow; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends that loved him. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 prior to the funeral service. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 25, 2017 with Rev. Beth Stephens –Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough.
