Michael Thomas Taylor, age 68, of Forsyth, Georgia passed away on Friday January 4, 2019. Michael was born April 26, 1950 to the late Thomas Vernon and Edith Ophelia Taylor in Hahira, GA. Most of Mike's family are from the Adel area. As a child, he moved around a lot with his family. His first "real" home was in Henry County. Mike loved bird hunting, fishing, training hunting dogs and going to the lake to pull anyone who wanted to ski. He was constantly doing what he could for others, with no expectations in return. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Jackson Taylor; and stepson, Colton King. Mike is survived by his children, Clint (Brent) Taylor, Melanie Queen, Case (Rhonda) Taylor; brothers, Greg (Lynne) Taylor, Jerry (Laura) Taylor; grandchildren, Josalynn “Josie” Queen, Caleb Taylor; many nieces and nephews; the mother of his children, June Taylor; and a host of friends. A visitation for Mike will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by a celebration of life at 4:00 pm at Liberty Hill Baptist Church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
