Murray D Robinson

Mr. Murray Dean Robinson, age 92, of McDonough, GA passed away February 1, 2018. Mr. Robinson was born in Carrolton, GA the son of the late Mary Pearl Wellborn Robinson and Thomas Henry Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his wife Kathryn Burdette Robinson, all of his siblings and a son-in-law, Roger Fowler.

Mr. Robinson enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and fishing. He served his country in the US Navy and was a member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle in Jonesboro. He worked most of his working career as a mechanic for the US Post Office.

Survivors are his children, Michael Robinson (Lori), Beverly White of Ellenwood, Danny Westbrooks of McDonough, Ronnie Westbrooks (Diane) of Jacksonville, FL, Jerry Westbrooks (Susan) of Sparta, TN, Sandra Fowler of McDonough; 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service. The Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 5, 2018 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Roberts officiating. Entombment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in McDonough.
