Mrs. Patricia Echols Ryle, age 79 of Riverdale, Georgia passed away September 17, 2020. She was born in Forest Park, Georgia to the late Guy Lumpkin and Lizzie Belle Owens Echols. She was preceded in death by siblings, Eloise Brown, Francis Echols, Betty Higgins, Linda Cheeves, Ed Echols, Sonny Echols and Louise Howard. Pat retired from Southern Freight Tariff Bureau and was a member of Glen Haven Baptist Church. Her favorite movie was "Gone With the Wind" and she volunteered at the Tara Museum in Jonesboro. She enjoyed attending events at the Riverdale Senior Center and also volunteered her time there as well. She loved spending time with her children, traveling, ball room dancing and line dancing. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Ray Ryle of Riverdale; children, Clyde (Joan) Lee of Stockbridge and Vicki (Jerry) Richey of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Michael Sanders, Ashley Davis and Ryan Richey; great grandchildren, Jamyla, Kristina, C.J., Aidan, Ruth and Henry; siblings, Jackie Mitchell, Doug, Gary, Johnny, Buddy and Ricky Echols. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, September 21, 2020 - 1:00 PM at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University in memory of Pat.
