Paula Olivia Cash

Mrs. Paula Olivia Cash, age 84 of Forest Park, Georgia passed away November 5, 2018. She was born in Grant, Alabama to the late John Leslie and Dollie Foster Brewer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Milton Cash and by siblings, Flossie Key, Flora Sims, Rubye Chandler, James, Harold, Leon, Kenneth and Phillip Brewer. Granny, as she was affectionately known, loved to dance, sew, laugh, garden, paint and do ceramics. She enjoyed shopping at yards sales and thrift stores, had an admiration for plants and flowers, loved to visit casinos and was known as a “Handy Woman”. Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Bruce and Lori Gibson, both of McDonough; grandchildren, Jessie Boozer of Griffin, Joshua Gibson of Blue Ridge and Dallas Gibson of Ellijay; great grandchildren, Desirae Delcambre, Michael, Trevor and Olivia Boozer all of Griffin; brother, Donald (Jean) Brewer of Grant, Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 – 1:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memory in Decatur. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. Contributions are asked to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Mrs. Cash.
