Philip Mackey

Philip was a hard worker who devoted many years of excellence as a manager at Cotter and Co. He was considered a simple man who enjoyed relaxing while watching his TV shows. He loved to watch and support his favorite team, The Georgia Bulldogs; however, above all else, he was a man who loved his family more than anything.

Philip is survived by his children Scott Mackey, Greg (Cathy) Mackey, Sherry (Brad Taylor) Dye, Sonia (Josh Combs) Whitaker; grandchildren Jennifer (Steven) Bennett, LeAnn Mackey, Tiffany (Andre Timmons) Parrot, Scott (Crissy) Crowe, Maria (Kyle) Combs; great grandchildren Dierks Crowe, Lilann Crowe, Brooke Bennett, Leo Bennett, and Wesson Combs. He will be missed dearly.

A visitation for Philip will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sherwood Memorial Park and Mausoleum at 6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
