Mr. Robert Lee Pauls, Sr., age 80, of McDonough, GA passed away October 3, 2014. Mr. Pauls was born in Lewiston, IL the son of the late Albert and Emma Jones Pauls. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Christensen Pauls. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, coaching and playing sports, reading, and history. He served his country in the US Navy. Mr. Pauls retired from Northwest Airlines with 41 years of service. Survivors are his children, Robin Baker (David) of Winter Springs, FL., Thomas Pauls of McDonough and Robert Pauls Jr. (Michelle) of McDonough; grandchildren, Micah Nichole, James Robert, Marlena Lee, Heather Grace, Sean Mitchell, an Dale Coleman; brother, Kenneth Pauls (Betty) of Peoria, IL; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mr. Pauls will be Monday, October 6, 2014 – 2:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park with Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
