Rose McKenzie

Rose Marie McKenzie, 71, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on March 23, 2024. Rose was born on August 22,1952 to Frank & June Kilgore in Atlanta, Georgia. After Rose graduated from Forest Park High School, she went on to obtain her nursing degree.

Rose will always be remembered for being so kind and giving to others. She truly had a heart of gold. Rose would always have a big smile on her face and welcomed everyone into her home. She would be the first in line to help anyone and everyone that she could. Her love would radiate like the sun for all to see. Rose will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched in her lifetime.

Rose was predeceased by siblings Frank Kilgore Jr, Portia Kilgore, Thomas Kilgore, Frank W Kilgore, Charles Kilgore, Mildred Kilgore and goddaughter Olivia Sargee. She is survived by her daughter Angela Riffle (Brent), son, David McKenzie, sister Ruth Allen (Willard), nephews Jason Bell and Paul Bell (Nicole), great nieces/nephews Ava, Taylor, Roger, Sam, best friend Mary Harvey, and godson Steven Johnson.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 - 3:00 pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta.
