Mr. Samuel R. Price, age 84, of Locust Grove, GA passed away June 13, 2015. Mr. Price was born in Lovejoy the son of the late Winnie Williford and Nonie Buren Price. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Pyles Price and a great granddaughter, Alexis Price. Mr. Price enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, watching wrestling and westerns, and gardening. He was a member of the Griffin Shrine and the Griffin Masonic Lodge #413. He is survived by his children, Steve price (Anne) of Griffin, Kevin Price (Jennifer) of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Robert, Lisa, Matthew, Kaleb, and Alyssa; great grandchildren, Amber, Madison, Xander, Destiny, Colten and Annabelle. Funeral service for Mr. Price will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 – 11:00 Am in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Newell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
